I’ve got some exciting email marketing strategies to share with you today. These have helped our clients double their monthly revenue, and I’m pretty sure they could do the same for you, no matter your current revenue level. So grab a cup of coffee and let’s dive right in!
You know those fun animated images, GIFs, or GIFs (however you say it)? They’re not just for social media. One super easy way to boost engagement and click-through rates in your emails is by adding some visual flair with GIFs. For instance, our client, Vital Red Light, saw a great response by offering discounts through a scrolling GIF. And the best part? It doesn’t have to be fancy. Even if you’re just starting out, you can head over to Giphy and create your own GIFs. Just make an account, click “create a sticker,” and unleash your creativity. Want to trace a funny meme from your Instagram feed? Do it! Add some animation, outline it, flip it, give it a spin—you name it. It’s a super fun way to customize your emails.
Timers in emails are another neat trick. An example? Picture a dynamic countdown timer ticking away for a specific sale or promotion. It’s all about urgency. Using a tool like sendtric.com, you can easily embed these timers into your emails. Just set the time zone, language, background, and labels to match your brand. Once it’s done, take the short code and pop it into your email, and voilà! The sale date becomes real, and that countdown is running. This is golden for sales, giveaways, or even a hyped-up email for a launch campaign.
Now here’s something you might not have seen before: Google Calendar integration for product launches or sales. It’s like giving your customers a gentle nudge in their calendars to check out your big event. All you need to do is create a separate calendar on Google Calendar, create your event, and make sure it’s public. Once done, you can share the link, allowing your customers to add it to their own calendars. Imagine the anticipation it builds!
Let’s switch gears a bit and talk about combining email marketing with Facebook ads. By integrating your email list with Facebook ads, you can keep everything updated without the hassle of constant uploading and downloading. Look for the integration within your email platform, connect your Facebook account, and then link up your audiences. This is huge for targeting high lifetime value audiences or lookalikes. If you’re not doing this already, you need to start.
Finally, let’s wrap up with some design wisdom. First and foremost, make sure your emails are mobile-optimized. Since most emails are opened on mobile devices, start with the mobile view and expand to desktop later. And speaking of views, the most critical information in your email should be above the fold. Think about big images, call to action buttons, coupon codes, timers, etc. If it’s vital, it goes up top.
And there you have it, six strategies from email marketing experts that can help take your brand to new heights. Whether you’re at $50K or above $100K a month, these tiny things, when stacked up, can lead to significant gains. So give them a try and let me know how it goes.
